| Aloysius | The envoy of the fresh attribute. He draws power from nature and once served the god of styling. He is resentful of humans due to their destruction of the environment. His goal is to awaken the old god, who he believes will eliminate humans and guard nature. Led the Druids under the alias "Green". |
| Ashley | Originally created by Nightbane as a vessel for the Goddess of Desire, but was discarded and physically thrown by him due to her kindness. Discriminated against due to a facial scar she received as a result, she made a pact with Nightbane to become beautiful, and was reborn as Lilith. Ashley's Designer's Reflection later spawned a Shadow of Memory, allowing Ashley to exist alongside Lilith. |
| Caprico | The envoy of the sexy attribute and an inventor. Resided at Hulse Arsenal after leaving Starstream Islet, where he died in an explosion. He was reborn and later ousted from Ruins for experimenting on himself. He develops weapons and technology, both for sale and for the Justiciars. Values technology. Was once acquainted with Glow in Ruins. |

| Glow | The highly advanced AI administrator of Ruins. Seeks the preservation of all living beings on the continent at any cost. Seems to have an affinity for Hestia. |

| Hestia | An elf of light from Pigeon, she was disliked for her heterochromia and affinity for technology. She met Glow at 18 and left for Ruins at 100 years old. She was instated as a puppet queen by Pigeon nobility later on, but was imprisoned after they could not manipulate her. Her nephew, Mercury, freed her a century later and gave her to Glow. |
| Jax | Yuka's roommate. She was born of Yuka's traumatic memories to protect Yuka from them. Lead singer of Pink Rock. |
| Jiang Beixi | A photojournalist for Miraland Geographic's Wasteland Party series. Jiang Xitong's sister, and Vivian's reporting partner. |
| Jiang Xitong | An artifact restorer, professor, and head of a fashion society. Only values traditional Cloud designs. Qing Yumo's & Chi Xiaoyu's rival, and Jiang Beixi's sister. |
| Joy | Her father went mad and brainwashed her into undergoing painful experiments to awaken Designer's Reflection. After initially befriending Nikki, she reveals that she has been plotting to take Nikki's Designer's Reflection for herself. She willingly had her memories erased afterwards by Modric. |
| Leonid | A legendary designer that observes the Sea of Memories. Adds disrupting forces to Miraland (ex. the manuscript, Nikki) and observes their effects. |
| Lilith | Gained a physical form after Ashley's pact with Nightbane. The elected queen of Ninir. Maintains power through manipulation and her popularity. |
| Loen | A member of Savior and a mercenary who takes on both odd jobs and important missions. Formerly known as Major Snowhawk from his role in the Apple Federation Independance War. |
| Lolory | Ninir's Ambassador of Elegance and the guild administrator. Often does work as a spy for the guild, through which she befriended Loen. Believes elegance can be embodied in many ways. Assisted Nikki several times. |
| Marina | An admin of the Ark alongside her older brother Aeon, she helps with administrative duties approved by Aeon. |
| Mercury | Born to the elf king August and a human mother, he was treated poorly by the elven nobility. Later went on to kill his father. Started the Mercury Group in Apple and has amassed great power and influence. Seems to be working agaisnt Nikki. Currently serving as the proxy of the old god after signing many parts of the company over to his heir, Rien. Half brother of Ophelia and nephew of Hestia. |
| Modric | Royal musician of Pigeon and Ophelia's close confidante. He is able to perform various feats through his music, such as influencing minds and moving people physically. |
| Momo | A being from the Momo Clan. Not a cat. Nikki's companion. Greatly enjoys BBQ. |
| Nightbane | A demon from the abyss who manipulated Lilith into becoming a vessel for the Goddess of Desire. He disappeared after the goddess's defeat. |
| Nikki | Transported from another reality to Miraland, she witnessed Miraland's destruction. She has repeatedly traveled back in time on the Ark to try and save it. |
| Norwin Blake | Legitimate son of the Blake family. Since he has the blood of the Nerfman royal family, he has a connection with the old god, who can awaken bloodlust in him. However, he instead works as a diplomat for peace. |
| Old god | An old god historically worshipped in North Kingdom. Also known as a god of nature. He gains power through bloodshed; thus, his followers work to create conflict. Currently worshipped by the Nerfman royal family, despite their being removed from power. Has a grudge against the player for their love of humanity and over the War of Gods. Mercury is his proxy. |
| Ophelia | The queen of Pigeon Kingdom. Does not have a great deal of influence due to obstruction from Mercury and the elven nobility, but strives to improve Pigeon where possible. Half sister of Mercury. |
| Peppermint | A chuunibyou shut-in and livestreamer. Writes fanfiction. |
| Qin Yi | Renowned actor and leader of the Neverfall Troupe. Posesses a large network of informants. Has no particular loyalties to anybody, and works with people towards various ends as he sees fit. |
| Qing Yumo | The director of publicity at the Culture Bureau. Creates ethereal Cloud designs. Jiang Xitong's rival. |
| Rien | An orphan who was experimented on as a child at New Wing Island in Ruins. After escaping, he caught Mercury's interest after disrupting a Mercury Group fashion show. He was adopted by Mercury to be his heir, but they have a complicated and distant relationship. He does not see a point in interacting with gods. |
| Roland | The president of Apple Federation. Known for being charismatic and good with public speaking. He wishes to reduce the Mercury Group's influence on Apple. |

| Serena | A down-to-earth model who hails from Pigeon. Was convinced by Helz to avoid starving herself for the sake of her career, and now collaborates with him on Apple Apparel Group projects. |

| Tess | Priestess of the Gold Stone Tribe. Communes with the gods and tells fortunes. After saving Yisu's life, the two have become very close. |
| Vermillion Snow | A student in Cloud. Only creates designs that involve white and red. Chose her name after leaving her hometown in Apple and her old name, Reddish-White, behind. Her older sister died in Apple's independence war. Chi Xiaoyu's roommate. |
| Vivian | Founder of the Designer Intel Hub and a reporter for Miraland Geographic's Wasteland Party series. |
| Vulture | Employee of the Mercury Group. Greatly admires Mercury. Often overworked and underpaid. Sells makeup through Moments as a side business. |
| Wenren Dian | The envoy of the elegant attribute. Advises Cloud's emperor. Was once known as the Cloud Hermit several centuries ago. Lives in a secluded home in the mountains. |
| Yeeso | A member of the Justiciars. Also a noble of Pigeon Kingdom, his full name is Cyrant Elnova Paleora Yeeso. Enjoys gaming. |
| Yexiao | A designer residing in Cloudcrest with her pets. She has been in Miraland for centuries. Possibly a Shadow of Memory. Has trouble remembering some of her past. She has knowledge of the Ocean of Memories Leonid. |
| Yisu | The envoy of the cool attribute and the legendary Hawk Hunting Brave. She guards the Wasteland tribes from threats. Very close to Tess. |
| Yueniang | Writer for the Neverfall Troupe. His mother was assasinated when he was a child. Wears his mother's clothing due to personal preference and as a connection to her. |
| Yuka | Jax's roommate. A coffee shop waitress who aspires to be a model. She has overwritten her traumatic memories with happier ones. |
| Zoey | The founder and leader of the Justiciars. Began gathering power as a teenager after leaving the North Kingdom. Her mercenary group has always achieved victory. Illegitimate daughter of the Blake family. |
Event Characters

| Aronius | The elven god of water. The only one of the original 9 elves who is tied to the abyss, they eventually succumbed to its pull despite their efforts due to discrimination from the other elves. Their closest friend, Hephaes, eventually freed them from the abyss's influence, and they faded away together. |
| Hephaes | The elven god of fire. Warm and friendly, they were the only elf that believed in Aronius. Hephaes sealed Aronius instead of killing them. Hephaes later sacrificed their own immortality to free Aronius from the abyss. |
Terminology

Factions

| Ark Admins | Aeon and Marina. They maintain the Ark and assist Nikki with many of her endeavors. |
| Black Water | A powerful faction in the North Kingdom. Curbed armed conflicts in the past. Constructed Hulse Arsenal. Led by Sir Blake. Norwin Blake handles their diplomacy, and Zoey sometimes helps via her mercenary forces. |
| Cangwu | An intelligence network that opposes the Cloud government and has a rivalry with the Neverfall Troupe. Collaborated with the Mercury Group to free the water elves from exile. |
| December Troupe | A renowned acting troupe. They often hold auditions and provide acting opportunities to non-members. Guest designers include Lolory, Loen, Yexiao, Qin Yi, Yuka, Zoe, Modric, Dodora, and William. |
| Dorm of the Strange | A group of misfits at Cicia's School of Design. After Ashley awakened as a Shadow of Memory, they have taken her in as a friend and support her. Their members include Cersei, Princess, Prince, and Robot. |
| Druids | An activist group led by Green, who is really Aloysius. They protest the Mercury Group's destruction of the environment and their monopoly. The members are actually being manipulated and used by Aloysius, both as pawns and as sacrifices to awaken the old god. |
| Envoys | The God of Styling and Beauty chose 5 envoys, each representing a different style attribute. They stayed in Starstream Islet within the Ocean of Memories together until the War of the Gods separated them and took their memories. Envoys include Dodora (sweet), Wenren Dian (elegant), and Yisu (cool). |
| Frozenstream | A faction of the North Kingdom led by Fräsen Sr. They spurn peace and long for conflict to prove themselves in battle. They thus hate Black Water's diplomacy with Apple Federation. After Fräsen Jr.'s death, they have temporarily allied with Black Water to confront the Nerfman royal family. |
| Justiciars | A mercenary group that only knows victory. "Power is justice". Members include their leader Zoey, as well as Corleone, Yeeso, Caprico, and Nikki. |
| Mercury Group | A major corporation involved in many sectors of business, from bottled water to idol agencies. Trades with Ruins, providing humans as slaves in exchange for Ruins technology. Members include its CEO, Mercury, as well as Vulture and Dorothy. |
| Nerfman royal family | They once ruled over the entirety of North Kingdom through the power of the old god, who they received power from by instigating bloody conflicts. They have since been deposed, but are working to regain power again through the old god. |
| Neverfall Troupe | A renowned acting troupe that also serves as the center of an informant network. Members include their leader, Qin Yi, and their writer, Yueniang. |
| Ninir Cabinet | Their purpose is to advise and serve the queen of Ninir. Since the Goddess of Desire's attack in Ninir, it includes plants from the Mercury Group. Fidel is a cabinet member loyal to Lilith. |
| Pigeon Nobility | Some members of the Pigeon nobility despise Queen Ophelia's efforts to acknowledge the common people, and have caused disruptions both on their own and with assistance from the Mercury Group. Others, such as the Cyrant family, are allied with the queen. |
| Savior | An organization whose purpose is to protect Miraland. They once thought that Nikki, being Leonid's successor, would bring destruction. They ordered Loen, one of their members, to assasinate her. They have since been convinced by him and Lolory that Savior and Nikki have common goals, and Nikki has now passed the test to join Savior. Far in the past, they advocated for Pigeon royalty to destroy the Original Crystal, to spare the water elves' lives, and to avoid war with Apple. |

| Ark | A place where the Ark admins were confined until a bridge formed, connecting it to Miraland. Created by Leonid and can navigate through space and time. It sails the Ocean of Memories and contains many locations, including a hall of personality mirrors, archives, a lab, and the Time Corridor. Also contains the Gate of Heart. |
| Demons | Beings born of dark consciousnesses. |
| Designer's Reflection | Each outfit is a combination of the designer's emotions and memories frozen in time, and they manifest as a Designer's Reflection. They contain power that can be used in battle. |
| Gate of Heart | Contained within the Ark. It allows people to travel through time. The player character emerged from the Gate with a physical form. |
| Glory | Power from the original crystal that allows the elves of light to live outside of the forest and sustains Pigeon Kingdom. Worshipped by the light elves as a deity. |
| Gods | Beings born of beautiful consciousnesses. |
| Manuscript | Written by Leonid and given to a young designer as a disrupting force to change Miraland. |
| Ocean of Memories | Stores the recollections and feelings of all human beings, and this is connected to every corner of the world. It is a source of both power and destruction. Ordinary humans experience mental agony when in direct contact with it. Nikki must save Miraland from being swallowed by it. |
| Original Crystal | Also referred to as the holy crystal and the crystal. It is the source of glory that sustains the elves of light. |
| Personality Mirror | Designer's Reflections are stored within them. They are kept on the Ark. |
| Shadow of Memory | Very rarely, a Designer's Reflection can spawn a Shadow of Memory. This allows the designer from the reflection to exit their personality mirror. |
| Spirit World | Each person has a Spirit World, where their memories and other facets of their psychology reside. They can be attacked. |
| Starstream Islet | A place in the Ocean of Memories where the God of Styling and their 5 envoys once lived. |
| Styling Power | Enhanced by various types of clothing. In some cases, it can be used to manipulate physical objects and people's minds. |

Leonid chose Nikki to potentially change the fate of Miraland. Momo is kidnapped, but Loen saves him, then leaves. Nikki learns about Designer's Reflections from Aeon and Marina, the Ark admins who helped her travel back in time. |
| 2 | Nikki and Momo arrive in Starheaven to look for Leonid's "key", meeting a resident named Joy. They learn about Starheaven's bias towards physical beauty and how it affected Ashley, who lit a fire and died at the Starheaven Swan pageant after reaching a breaking point. Nikki helps Ashley's designer reflection find peace. Loen gives Nikki a part of Leonid's manuscript. They need to find the Puzzle Solver to decipher it. Joy stays in Starheaven to participate in the current Starheaven Swan pageant. |
| 3 | Loen takes Nikki and Momo to Shadowflow, where they learn that people have been randomly losing consciousness and acting strangely. A mind-controlled child named Susan stabs Loen, takes a fake copy of the manuscript that Loen was keeping, and runs onto a train. Nikki and Momo pursue her. They meet Vulture, who attempts to kill them before being stopped by Loen. Afterwards, Loen departs and they meet with Joy as they leave Shadowflow. |
| 4 | On the Ark, Aeon tells Nikki that she, Momo, and Joy should go to Cloudcrest next. There, the three of them briefly meet Yexiao and learn that an unusual snow is interfering with the Flower Fest. They later meet Qin Yi, who accompanies them to investigate the snow. They find Vulture, who calls Qin Yi the Puzzle Solver. Nikki later reveals the manuscript to Qin Yi and asks him to decipher it, but he does not. During the Flower Fest, Qin Yi mind controls Joy and reveals that he is not the Puzzle Solver. Joy is hurt in the process. He demands the manuscript, and Nikki relinquishes it to save Joy. Yexiao takes in the unconscious Joy as Nikki and Momo continue in their journey. |
| 5 | Nikki goes to Rosset to join the Justiciars, who she hopes can help her. She learns of Caprico, the Justiciar's weapons dealer, and goes to his factory. There, they hear that the manuscript is going to be auctioned at the Lodden Hotel. After undergoing several trials, they meet Caprico, who agrees to take her to Zoey. Caprico discusses his admiration of technology above humanity. Nikki hears a memory of his old Ruins codename. |
| 6 | Nikki passes Zoey's trial and is accepted into the Justiciars. Zoey sends Nikki and Momo to the Lodden Hotel under a fake identity to retrieve the manuscript. At the auction the next day, Nikki bids on the manuscript. She wins, but the auctioneer, Nightbane, appears to fall dead. Nikki is surrounded by police, but she feels a power take hold of her, and the police all fall to their knees. Elsewhere, Mercury observes the auction, and Lilith is accompanied by Nightbane, alive and well. |
| 7 | Nikki, unable to control her body, watches as she overpowers Vulture and takes his gun to kill him. Mercury subdues and prepares to capture her, but is interrupted by the Apple Federation military. As Major Snowhawk, Loen takes Nikki into custody instead. After blacking out, Nikki has a vision where she witnesses the destruction of Miraland being halted by Yexiao. Yexiao tells Nikki that power comes from the abyss and can take control of you. She also says that when the two parts of the manuscript combine, Leonid's puzzle will be revealed, and that the world can be saved. Nikki awakens in an infirmary. |
| 8 | Nikki, Momo and Zoey plan to go to Cloudcrest, but a fully-recovered Joy finds them and insists they go to Starheaven to investigate something first. Nikki agrees, and they all go to Starheaven. Joy acts strangely and dodges questions. At night, Nikki loses control of her styling power again and is overtaken by murderous intent towards a mystery assailant before being stopped by Zoey. The next day, Joy puts a sedative in a drink for Nikki, and Nikki awakens alone in a machine that tortures her Spirit World. Leaving the machine, she finds Joy. |
| 9 | Joy reveals that she has previously undergone tortuous sessions in the machine to awaken her own Designer's Reflection at the behest of her father. Feeling that Nikki does not deserve Designer's Reflection, Joy attempts to take Nikki's for herself as Nikki struggles with her own power like before. From her snowflake necklace, Leonid's voice tells Nikki that it's her fear that's really consuming her, and Nikki takes charge of her power. Zoey arrives to help despite interference from Vulture. Elsewhere, Mercury notes that Nikki's necklace resonated with the manuscript and the "original crystal", and Savior orders Nikki's death. |
| 10 | Receiving word that Mercury is taking the manuscript to Pigeon capital, Nikki and Momo travel there with Yeeso. They attend the funeral of an elf of light, where they hear rumors of light fading from the holy river. Mercury forces his way in to place red flowers on the coffin as a snub, then leaves. Nikki finds Modric outside after failing to tail Mercury, and he brings her back to the church to reunite with Yeeso. The original crystal came from Lake Bovaly, so they plan to travel there. Yeeso must leave, so Modric offers to accompany them and bring them to the crystal. He states that Nikki's necklace, the manuscript, and the crystal are all related. |
| 11 | After navigating the secret passage to the crystal, Nikki's necklace is used to open the door. They find Ophelia praying at the original crystal. When Mercury comes to Ophelia with the manuscript, Modric triggers a mechanism that shifts the crypt and isolates Nikki with Ophelia and the manuscript. The two of them discuss Nikki's desire to save the world and Ophelia's desire to restore glory to the weakening crystal. Ophelia sacrifices the glory in her wings to partially restore the crystal's power, and Nikki promises to find the source of glory to fully restore the crystal. Nikki receives the manuscript. It is later discovered that the second half of the manuscript is with Nightbane in Ninir's Royal City. |
| 12 | Modric, Nikki, and Momo head to Ninir. Modric hints that Leonid was once his teacher. The election for Ninir's queen is occurring when they arrive, but they only see propoganda for Lilith. They are saved from strangely fanatic Lilith supporters by Lolory. During Lilith's speech, they notice the crystal in her throne and Nightbane looking on. They then meet Loen, who is tasked with recovering the crystal, and Modric returns to Pigeon. Loen reveals that Qin Yi, Zoey, and Mercury are also in Ninir. They stay in in Lolory's hotel room, where Nikki hears about the abyss from Yexiao in a dream and Aeon on the Ark. She receives an invitation to Lilith's coronation as Lilith wins a new term. |
| Dawn Duel | Nikki entrusts her half of the manuscript to Savior, but Nightbane acquires it anyway. He uses the manuscripts, Lilith's soul, and the crystal to open the abyss. At the coronation, the Goddess of Desire possesses Lilith. The Justiciars, Savior, Mercury Group, and the Neverfall Troupe work against her forces. Nikki finds herself in the abyss with the Goddess. A memory of Leonid tells Nikki that his manuscript is a formula of truth, and gives it to her. Nikki breaks free of the Goddess's mirages and defeats her. The people of Ninir forget the Goddess and believe there was just an earthquake. Lilith regains consciousness to find that much of her cabinet has been replaced by Mercury group members. Nightbane fades away. The crystal is returned to Pigeon. The player character falls asleep. |

| 1 | Asleep, the player character meets Leonid, who says that the ark will sail in a new direction after the lights of five colors come together. The player awakens upon emerging from the Gate of Heart, now possessing a physical form and a mirror with 5 different gems. They meet Aeon, Marina, Nikki, and Momo in person. In the archive, they find notes on the God of Styling and visit the Corridor of Time briefly. Aeon suspects that Ashley may become a Shadow of Memory, able to leave her personality mirror. A bridge appears between the Ark and Miraland. Aeon and Marina are now able to travel to Ninir with Nikki and Momo. |
| 2 | Because the pink gem on the player's mirror resonated with a Cicia idol contest video, they travel there to find out who resonates with it. They're invited to the contest by the Mercury Era idol Dorothy, who was sent by Vulture to gather intel about the player. Lilith sends falsified documents to the Mercury Group. At the Cicia School of Design, Aeon discusses the God of Styling and their 5 envoys. They realize Dodora is an envoy at the contest opening. When the player later saves Dodora from falling during practice, she thanks them and leaves hastily after being asked if she's an envoy. Ashley leaves her mirror as a Shadow of Memory. |
| 3 | Ashley attempts to find Lilith at the idol contest. She is accused of setting fire to the idols' dressing room and burning Dodora's dress, but Nikki and Dodora defend her. They salvage the dress for the performance, though Dorothy receives more votes than Dodora after Mercury Group rigs the election. Sent by Lilith, Fidel orders a recount, and the true result shows Dodora as the winner. In private afterwards, Dodora says that she wants to continue just being an idol for now, but gives Nikki and the player her ruby necklace. The next day, Qin Yi gives Nikki a painting - a clue to another envoy in Cloud Capital. |
| 4 | Aeon and Marina return to the Ark. Nikki, Momo, and the player go with Qin Yi to Cloud Capital. After parting with Qin Yi, they find out that the painting resembles the work of an ancient painter, the Cloud Hermit. While looking for information in the Ghost Market, they meet a Cloud Hermit admirer named Yueniang, who saves them from robbers. He identifies the painting's subject as the West Mountain and accompanies them there, but finds an excuse to discretely tail them instead. Nikki, Momo, and the player find their way to the house depicted in the painting. |
| 5 | They are greeted by Wenren Dian, who reveals that he is the Cloud Hermit and an immortal being. He is an envoy. He had asked Qin Yi to give them the painting. He recognizes the painting Nikki shows him as fake, and they realize that Yueniang replaced it. When they go to confront him at the Neverfall Troupe's villa, they are ambushed by Cangwu and are saved by Neverfall Troupe members. Qin Yi orders the painting returned to Wenren Dian and tells Nikki that they have a common enemy in Cangwu. Returning to Wenren Dian at his home, he tells them about anomalies involving the moon and gives them a yellow gem. |
| 6 | After Yexiao relays a message about a lunar anomaly in Pigeon Forest from Wenren Dian to Nikki, Momo, and the player, they all travel there together. They stay in Uncle Jim's Fo-Rest stop. There, they meet Yeeso and Corleone on a mission to receive Ophelia, who came to the forest to find a way to preserve the glory of the crystal. Near Lake Bovaly, Loen ambushes Cangwu agents. He later joins with Nikki's group. At an altar, Ophelia is trapped in a holy grail by Mercury. |
| Tide & Fire | Mercury interrupts Ophelia as she attempts to summon Hephaes and instead traps her, awakens the abyss-eroded Aronius, and frees the water elves. Nikki, Momo, the player, and Loen meet Hephaes, who is weak due to the interrupted summoning. They travel to the Tree of Life to reclaim Hephaes's fire seed, which is Hephaes's source of power. Hephaes spends all of their energy to free Aronius's mind from the abyss, and they reunite before fading away together. Ophelia is freed and receives a holy flame that preserves the power of the crystal. She negotiates a truce with the water elves, granting them their freedom in exchange for peace. Mercury recreates Aronius's New Moon Scepter. |
| 7 | Ophelia advises Nikki, Momo, and the player to go to Wasteland to search for a shrine that may be related to the Ocean of Memories. There, they attend the Hawk Hunting event, but are targeted by the 3 divine arrows during the opening ceremony, drawing the ire of the crowd. They are rescued by Priestess Tess, who brings them back to the event later when it is safe. A sudden black sandstorm appears and attempts to take the divine arrows, but they are saved by Nikki, the player, and Yisu. The divine arrows are given to Yisu, the chosen champion of the event. Afterwards, Yisu offers to accompany Nikki, Momo, and the player into Quicksand Shrine. |
| 8 | At Quicksand Shrine, they meet with Priest Azure, who guides them through the shrine to the sapphire-studded holy bow of the Hawk Hunter. Priest Azure is possessed by the black sand, which takes the divine bow and arrows away. Nikki, Momo, the player, and Yisu end up in the shrine's sinkhole. They discover that the black sand is the remnants of explorers who were corrupted by the Ocean of Memories and think that the divine weapons will restore their human forms. This does not work. Yisu reclaims the bow, whose powers combine with the power of Dodora's and Wenren Dian's stones to subdue the black sand. Yisu's memories of being an envoy are awakened, and she gifts Nikki and the player a sapphire. |
| 9 | Nikki, Momo, and the player return to Pigeon for a music festival, which is also a cultural exchange with Ninir. Modric tells them about some Pigeon nobles' opposition to the music festival and equal treatment of commoners. The festival has received vague threats, but it proceeds regardless. The two queens meet, later discussing their future cooperation and concerns about Mercury Group. Nikki and the player discover that an organ has been modified to cause negative emotions, causing Lizzy Choir members to be hostile to their new member, Ashley. It is replaced thanks to help from Dodora and Modric, but the entire concert hall ends up being used as an instrument to sow discord due to its organ-like structure. It is resolved by Modric's intervention and Ashley's singing. Lilith invites Ashley to a banquet in Ninir. |
| 10 | Ashley attends Lilith's banquet, but is given a drink containing a sedative. Ashley awakens in a large birdcage, and Lilith tells her that she will never be loved. Ashley says that she has found meaning in friendship, so Lilith says they will see if Ashley's friends will rescue her. Lilith leaves to attend Mercury's garden party, where they dodge each other's questions about secrets. Ashley's absence the next day worries the Dorm of the Strange, who ask Nikki, Momo, and the player for help. They sneak into the palace, but discover that Ashley was kidnapped. They find Ashley in an underground lab at Central Square, where her Designer's Reflection power was awakened but then taken away. Fidel attempts to capture Ashley for Lilith, but Lolory saves her while in disguise, and Lilith allows it to happen. Lolory tells Nikki that the lab technology appeared to be from Ruins. |
| 11 | Nikki, Momo, and the player go to an open day event on Ruins' main island. They are greeted by Glow and given electronic bracelets. Ai, here to accompany Charmonroe, hacks into Nikki's bracelet to speak with her. Loen saves them from being arrested over a Styling power enhancer malfunction and tells them he is there to investigate Mercury's involvement with Ruins, as well as missing persons cases. They infiltrate Ringed Tower Lab, and briefly spot Caprico speaking to Glow. They also find Hestia, who tells them that she is running an experiement related to the Ocean of Memories. They later realize that the open day event is being held to procure human slaves. Charmonroe, Loen, and the other guests are mind-controlled and put into pods. Nikki and the player are transported into a simulation run by Glow, who has hacked into Ai. |
| Void Stardust | The player awakens in a simulation run by Glow in which the consciousnesses of many people operate under the parameters she has set. Uniformity is enforced at the cost of free will and self expression. The player encounters and reminds Nikki, Loen, and Modric of their lives outside the simulation. They work together to end the simulation by inspiring people to embrace self-expression and creativity. Nikki, Momo, and the player find Caprico at the center of the simulation. He explains that "impurities", crystalline manifestations of undesired emotions, are harvested from people kept in an apparatus called the Furnace and used to power the simulation. He tricks them into being taken into the Furnace, but they escape by attuning to everyone's emotions and overloading the system, and the simulation collapses. Through guidance from Hestia, they learn of both Glow's and Nikki's past attempts to save Miraland. Nikki convinces Glow of the importance of freedom and creativity, which Glow will consider in her next experiment. |
| 12 | Nikki, Momo, and the player travel up Mount Koso with Yeeso and Corleone to find Caprico, who has gone to Hulse Arsenal. It was abandoned after a strange explosion decades ago. They pursue Caprico while Yeeso and Caprico stay to subdue a large hostile robot outside. Caprico runs through a power station, but stops and saves them from falling to their demise. He is looking for something he has lost, so they offer to help. Guided by the player's mirror, they find the object: a corrupted purple gem. Through it, he recovers memories of him being experimented on, someone using his gem to commune with an old god and cause bloody conflict, as well as him using the gem to cause an explosion in an attempt to end its use for cruelty. They purify his gem, and he is revealed to be an envoy. They reconvene with Yeeso and Corleone outside, but are confronted by Norwin Blake and his legion. Zoey appears and holds Norwin at gunpoint. |
| 13 | Norwin states that Frasen Jr. of the North Kingdom has vanished to Mt. Eree, and Zoey agrees to help investigate. Caprico shows Norwin sigils of the old god, which Norwin recognizes. At Mt. Eree, they find the reanimated corpse of Fräsen Jr., who has fused with a beastly mask and attacks them with claws. Corleone and Yeeso are injured and become possessed before collapsing. Norwin, who has blood from the old-god-worshipping Nerfman royal family, is transported to a mirage where the old god tries to persuade Norwin to join him. Zoey overcomes a different mirage to save him. Nikki, Caprico, and the player are transported to a different mirage where the old god mocks them and discusses his grudge against the player over their love for humanity. After they escape, everyone reconvenes, and Corleone and Yeeso are given treatment. Norwin says he will be negotiating peace with Apple Federation. Meanwhile, forces from Black Water City and Frozenstream confront the Nerfman king, who prays to the old god. |
| 14 | Having obtained a photo of a hostage wearing a beast mask from an Apple-based grassroots organization called "Druids", Norwin sends Nikki, Momo, and the player to Melson — Apple's capital — to find possible connections between them and the old god. There, they discover that Druids, led by Green, are protesting the Mercury Group's damage to the environment and monopoly through non-violent but disruptive protests that have mysteriously become more frenzied lately. When one protest threatens to become a crowd crush, all participants are suddenly calmed magically by Aloysius. He invites Nikki's group to talk and reveals himself to be the final envoy they've been searching for. During a ritual led by the Druids, their Mercury Group hostage shoots someone and steals a box related to the old god, which emits a purple fog that causes delusion in the members and new growth in an ancient tree. Meanwhile, the Druids' leader Green negotiates with Apple's president, Roland. |
| 15 | The hostage held by the Druids was Rien, Mercury's successor. He shows the box to Mercury, who absorbs the fog into his eyes. Excluded from negotiations between Apple and North Kingdom, Mercury and Rien plan to disrupt the event. At the peace talks, things progress well until Rien intrudes and makes inflammatory statements. Mercury appears, and Zoey tails him out of the conference room to find that a mysterious power has frozen all the guards and prevents her from shooting him. Meanwhile, at the negotiation, a Druids representative is invited to speak and smooth things over. However, a force takes hold of him and causes him to strike Norwin with a dagger. Norwin sees a vision showing that Green is responsible and serves the old god. Purple fog forms from the panic and frenzy of the attendees, but is halted by Zoey's return. Once everyone leaves the building, an explosion injures Aloysius, who was outside. A note written by Green reveals that Green caused the explosion. |
| 16 | Aloysius, Nikki, Momo, and the player enter Pigeon Forest to pursue Mercury and heal Aloysius, with the other envoys en route to arrive soon after. The forest is filled with purple fog resembling the fog from the box, and seems to encourage growth and vitality in the forest's inhabitants while negatively affecting humans. When the group stops to sleep, the player is awoken by a nightmare and speaks to Aloysius, who privately expresses disdain for human's destructive actions and states that the old god is a protector of nature. He disappears, leaving his gem and a note telling them to meet him at the Tree of Life. There, it is revealed that he is Green. When the player refuses to kill the Druids members he prepared as sacrifices, he binds the player and Nikki to an altar. They are rescued by the arrival of the other envoys, but the assembly of all five envoys allows the old god to be summoned by his proxy, who turns out to be Mercury. The "other side of the world" becomes dominant. |

Savior stages an elaborate test for Nikki’s group, where they must assist Tartali with a prison break to escape drowning, then save her life by containing her out-of-control power. They touch a black chess piece during the rescue, which turns out to be a key to Tartali’s twin Lillyan’s mind space, where Lillyan is trapped and tortured by the abyss. Trying to help Lillyan results in Tartali’s power being controlled, and they successfully pass the test, becoming members of Savior. Instead of bringing Nikki’s group to the rest of Savior as planned, she requests that they help her save Lillyan. |
